THANK YOU LETTER FROM COURTNEY & MICHEAL 4-29-08
I want to return thanks to all the people that make it possible for we to have a bathroom in our house. It is very convenient to know that we have this bathroom. Thank you also for Skip & Janice for what both of you have done for us over the years. They pay the light bill, and put on the ceiling and finish the 2nd room for Micheal. They help with Micheal's schooling. This year you did so much. The project was the biggest of all. In closing we have to give God thanks, for without him, it is impossible.
Truly,
Courtney & Micheal Whittaker

THANK YOU LETTER FROM SKIP & JANICE
Skip and I also thank you all for making all of Courtney's projects possible. We always have minimum needs for them with electricity, phone cards, schooling, or whatever the need of the moment is. We appreciate one time donors, and our regular donors. We have several projects we would like to do as the money comes in. We go back for 3 months in Jan. Feb. Mar. of 2009. We would like to go ahead and make a bedroom next to the bathroom for Micheal. Courtney would like to use the room we finished that Micheal now sleeps in for it's original intended use, a kitchen. He would like to teach Micheal to cook, so they don't have to depend on Courtney's mom that lives next door to cook for them all of the time. We would also like to clean up and decorate their house with a kitchen table and chairs. There is no place for anyone to sit except on Courtney's bed when they come. He could use a couple of porch chairs for company. We will make him a shelf in the living room out of nice boards and blocks like we do at our house. They both need new sheets. Courtney's bed will stay in the livingroom. It is a big room. We will eventually get them their own power poles, and electricity of their own. Now, it comes off of a friend. We are VERY excited that we have in the works this year for someone to teach Courtney to read. We have great hopes that when we go back next time, that he will be reading. We talked with a friend of Courtney's, Miss June, that is starting an adult literacy class. So, as you can see, we keep our eyes open to needs. The bathroom project was a great leap of faith. To watch it become a reality was so awesome. We could not have done it without all of you. Thank you for your help so far, and for helping us with future projects. We also give our Church there $500 a year for projects. This year, they bought 3 tables for potlucks, which they had before we left. They put the rest of the money in the bank for another project not quite decided upon yet. God bless you all.
Love,
Skip & Janice Robinson
